Privacy Policy

Last updated September 28, 2026. CardScout ("we") runs cardscouts.app and the CardScout app.

What we collect

• Account details: your email address, and your name if you sign in with Google or Apple.
• What you save: collection cards, saved searches, price alerts and marketplace listings, including photos you upload.
• Card photos you scan, which are sent to our AI provider to identify the card and are not kept afterward.
• Clicks on marketplace links, to measure affiliate commissions.

How we use it

Only to run CardScout: show your collection, send the price alerts you ask for, and improve search. We do not sell your data. Marketplace links (such as eBay) may include affiliate tags; those sites have their own privacy policies.

Sharing

We use service providers for hosting, sign-in, email and AI card recognition. They process data only on our behalf. Marketplace listings you post are public.

Deleting your data

You can delete your account and all saved data at any time on the Delete account page. Deletion is immediate and permanent.

Children

CardScout is not directed at children under 13.
